Too Real

Hey! Yeah, I’ve definitely seen some AI images that looked incredibly real. A few that stuck out to me were hyper-realistic portraits or landscapes that had the perfect lighting and detail—at first, I couldn’t tell they were generated! It’s crazy how advanced the tech has gotten.

Yeah, I have! Some AI portraits and food photos are so realistic, I totally thought they were real at first. It's wild how detailed and convincing they can be now.

I tend to use Midjourney for text to image generation and occasionally find it does look too artificial. However, mostly, it looks photographic (assuming that is what I am after). I often use Photoshop on the image to tidy up elements and so on but generally can use the image directly, often as the starting frame for an animation sequence. For this I use Pixverse AI as it is lightning fast, doesn't morph unnecessarily and the motion is anatomically correct.
