My first career was in photography and illustration, now I work in Hospice care.
I'm wanting to create a series of art about End of Life. There is a lot of legal red tape when it comes to doing actual photography with real people... especially when you are employed by a agency... so I was hoping to turn to AI to create realsitic AI photographs, not to try and depict the likness of actual patients, but to create inspired images that would be more like realistic illustrations then be used in Mixed Media art.
However, I am finding it a challenge for AI to render the elderly and sickly looking people. This seems to violate the TOS of many sites, and the ones that don't block the prompt struggle with convincing facial features in the elderly. For instance, they may be able to render the rest of the body as quite thin but the face will still appear healthy. Or even when someone is thin, the skin on the arms is still tight and not more loose like what is common. It is difficult to get sunken cheeks, or scars, oxygen tubes, etc, to render. It seems AI models are trained to always favor "beauty" and "healthy" and struggle with this.
I realize this subject can be uncomfortable, but result will be respectful, with dignity and hopefully emotionally touching.
I have installed ComfyAI and have also experimented with some locally installed models/LORAS with similar challenges.
Does anyone have any advice for what subscription, or locally installed Model/LORAs can accomplish this?
